The highest level of confidence is something that most people would love to have, but very few achieve. In my opinion it is something that I think every human being should strive for. But what is the highest level of confidence and what do we mean by it?
I should imagine some of you might think it could be someone who is very rich in monetary terms, a person who has achieved everything in their chosen field or maybe a film or pop star that is worshiped by millions. A persons confidence can have little or no bearing to what money they have, what awards they have picked up and to what adulation they receive from the masses.
And you each gentle animal
In confidence may bind,
And make them follow at your call,
If you are always kind.
— Sarah Josepha Buell Hale (17881879)
Don't get me wrong, any of the above could also rise up to have the highest level of confidence because they have other attributes within their lives. If a person can look deep within him or herself and be at peace with themselves, then they have already reached the highest level of confidence within themselves. They don't need the money, awards or the approval of others to achieve this.
What I mean by this is a person with the highest level of confidence can achieve anything they set their mind to, be it financial, health, spiritual or physical. Not because they want to, but because they can do! They are a complete person, unlike the millionaire that has poor health or the film star that lives in a deep depression. There has to be a balance and a contentment and the person with the highest level of confidence is well aware of this. It is ironic that the riches, awards and recognition of peers come to this person as a by product of how they live their life.
In my opinion, the highest level of confidence is attained by knowing what you want from life, setting out a plan to achieve it and all your dreams and goals will come to you as a result of it. It is not going to be achieved without hard work and persistence, but working on your goals and yourself each and everyday for a few hours will reap the rewards. It is having the knowledge in knowing that you are creating your own confidence by the actions you ultimately take in life.
It is easy to lose confidence in our natural ability to raise children. The true techniques for raising children are simple: Be with them, play with them, talk to them. You are not squandering their time no matter what the latest child development books say about purposeful play and cognitive learning skills.

Knowing what to do is not enough! You need to put it into action and what will that mean for you, your family, friends and all the people you touch in such a short space of time?
